What is the COP and what is it for?

Inria’s 2019-2023 Objectives and Performance Contract, also called “COP- Ambition 2023”, is the reference document established to serve as the basis for discussions between Inria and the ministries it reports to, namely the ministries in charge of Research and of Industry. Scientific, economic and social impact is a central focus for Inria and it conducts its activities in accordance with public policy. The COP establishes measurable indicators of this impact, and provides drivers for action and transformation to achieve the Institute’s objectives. Our leading role in digital technology in higher education, research and innovation is therefore asserted in the COP.
